Have you ever thought about taking your own travel pillow?

I’ve recently returned home from spending 5 weeks overseas for my honeymoon and on this holiday I did something I haven’t done before- I took my own travel pillow!

In our practices we stock the ‘Flexi Pillow- Travel Pillow’ and after having looked at it on the shelf at work, I decided I’d do myself a favour and take one in my suitcase. The result? It was amazing!

Have you ever stayed at a Hotel or Friends house, only to find you have an awful nights sleep because the pillow is like a pancake, marshmallow or a brick? Well I wasn’t keen on 5 weeks of ordinary pillows, or having to listen to my husband complain about the pillows, so we took one each.

What was good about the Travel Pillow?

They are lightweight, roll up into a compact bag (but bounce back to shape when you take them out of the bag) and barely take up any room. Perfect for a holiday, overnight stay at a friend’s house, camping or a business trip- they fit nicely into a cabin luggage suitcase. 

They also have a moderate contour that supports your neck and helps to maintain neutral spinal alignment and a good sleep posture. Definitely something I’m keen on when travelling, I don’t want a poor nights sleep or a sore neck getting in the way of any adventuring! 

A few people have asked about the size as they are about half the length of a ‘normal’ pillow. As I’m sure you realise we never use our whole pillow anyway, our head isn’t that big! Plus, if my husband’s head fits on the pillow, trust me you will be fine haha! 

So if you’re planning a holiday or about to take off, whether it’s camping for a couple of nights over a weekend or a long term holiday, like me, pop in and have a look at the travel pillow, it was perfect for me.
